The PTA have bought Junior Librarian for the school, which is an electronic library system enabling all of our library books to be scanned in and out by the children.

It is historical that parents and pupils keep to the paths when walking around the school grounds. I realise the temptation is great for children wanting to use the playtrail but we would ask that you keep to the paths in the Winter months to stop the grass being worn down.

Thank you very much for all your vouchers. We collected 11,165 which enabled us to buy three Flip camcorders for use by the children. We also purchased some eco-tabards for the litter monitors to wear on their litter patrols in the village next year.

It was lovely to see some of the new Reception children with their parents and Grandparents at the Newcomers’ service in the Church on Sunday 26th September. All the children were presented with a prayer book to share at home.

I am very pleased to welcome Mrs. Gaskin back into Year 6 and Miss. Richards who is our new Teaching Assistant in Reception. Also Mrs. May who will be based in the office every Thursday between 1PM and 3PM.
