The Sherborne Schools have been highlighting the importance of road safety in all of our localities. In the summer, children were invited to design road signs distinct to their vicinity which would be made and put up to draw attention to local issues. A judging panel including local councillors and Headteachers got together to choose the winning designs. 

In October an awards ceremony was held at the Gryphon in front of an invited audience of emergency services, parents and teachers. Congratulation to Ruby Hughes, John Jacklin and Charlotte Hill who will all be having their signs made up and hung around the village.
