SNOW CLOSURES
Should there be heavy snowfall this Winter, there may be a possibility that the school will have to close. This decision is never taken lightly. We do try very hard to keep the school open at all times, but some of our staff have to travel quite some distance to school and if they cannot make it, it is not always possible to open and run the school safely and within the law. Senior staff are almost certainly required as they have knowledge of health and safety, medical and safeguarding procedures.
A decision by the Headteacher and Chair of Governors is made as early as possible but we have to wait until it is light to assess how safe it is for staff and pupils to travel. Parents will recieve a text before 8.15am and there will also be announcements on Facebook and the website. Please ensure that you have considered childcare arrangements in this event.
