Pupil leadership

We encourage our pupils whatever age they may be to work together and help each other. Many of the older pupils have leadership responsibilities and support the younger children at lunchtimes and playtimes. We have student librarians, play leaders, house captains  and a junior worhsip team.

We have three houses in the school: red, yellow and green respresenting three different saints. Children join the same house as their brothers and sisters before them. Housepoints are totalled up every half term and the winning house wins the house trophy and enjoys a treat day. The houses also compete together during sports day and the winners do a victory lap!

SCHOOL COUNCIL

Our school council is made up of the House Captains from Year 6 and 2 representatives from Year 4 and 5 voted in by their peers. The school council meets every half term to lead and drive school improvement. Amongst other things such as improvements to the school grounds and fund raising, they have  helped produce and write an anti-bullying policy and presented it to the rest of the school. They have also lead work on Rights Respecting Schools, the development of the spiritual garden and the planning and leading acts of worship alongside one of our Foundation governors.
