School aims
Eight pupils were invited to participate in an art day at the Boys’ School as part of our enrichment cluster schools’ work led by Vickie Fraser. The aim of the day was to recreate a Matisse inspired stained glass window to display back at school and to design and create some shields inspired by the wonderful Abbey architecture. We began by exploring Sherborne Abbey looking for shields and designs on stained glass windows. We then chose sections of a window to use as inspiration to design our own before returning to base to start the making process.
