School aims
During our healthy living week, we are learning about all the aspects of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. All the children had a session in the Life Education Van which taught them about healthy choices and balanced diets. Eleven of our older children were selected to be sports leaders and trained by Premier Sports. Our sports leaders will run the Golden Mile programnme this year. Golden Mile is an initiative which encourages our children to be more active during the year. Healthy bodies equal healthy minds! We have even been exploring some mindful eating at lunchtimes which we have noticed has reduced waste and improved dining etiquette!
