During our most recent Vicar led KS1 workship, Reverend John Summers talked about colours representing differnt things, such as St Mary's having blue uniform and  the Labour Party colour being red (it was election day!).

He talked about the use iof colour in the church and how different colours were used at different times of the Church year. Green is worn during ordinary times of the Church calendar, usually between now and the lead up to Christmas. Red is worn on special days like Saints days. Blue is for times of reflection such as Lent and White is worn for major festivals such as Easter and Christmas and at Weddings and Christenings.
