Dear Parents and Carers

As per my previous email the situation has swiftly changed and school is now closed to all but the children of critical workers and vulnerable pupils.

The majority of pupils will now move to remote learning from home via Google Classroom.

We need time as a school to put this provision in place to ensure we have the right staff in the right places and adequate safeguarding procedures are in place.

Therefore remote learning will commence on Wednesday as will the provision for children of critical workers. Teachers will communicate with pupils/parents directly on  Google Classroom.

Please read the attached form very carefully if you consider your child needs a critical worker place, complete it fully and send it back to me at office@bradfordabbas.dorset.sch.uk by 3pm tomorrow.  These places are for children whose parents have a critical role in supporting our society throughout the pandemic. The more children we have in school the more risk it carries so please consider your needs very carefully. School  will be in contact with parents whose  children are classed as vulnerable directly. Places will be allocated on a week by week basis.

We will be able to purchase vouchers for the children in receipt of  free school meals but this will again take some time so please bare with us. Vouchers will be issued retrospectively

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes

Emma
