The first event of the Yeovil Area Cross Country was wonderful last night despite it being very wet and a late finish.
Our team performed excellently. We had 16 children who all did themselves and us, proud. It's a long course and they all finished with a smile, with lots of top 50 placings. Year 4 girls were particularly strong, all coming within top 35.
Two pupils finished in the top 10 of their age groups, 7th and 8th. Well done everyone - there has been very positive feedback on your support of each other during the run. Thank you to Miss Stuckey for supervising our runners.
